6 carrots (500 g)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon grated ginger root
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
salt and pepper
Peel carrots; cut into sticks. Steam for about 8 min. or until tender-crisp. ( Alternatively, toss with 2 tbsp water, cover and microwave at High for 5 min.
In small skillet, cook sesame seeds over medium hear for 2 min. or until golden, shaking pan occasionally. Combine sesame seeds, juice, ginger, sesame oil and soy sauce; toss with carrots. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
